Ikigai is a Japenese name for passion.
What is passion? Passion is a strong feeling of likeness. It can mean anything in life. For us it means passion in bringing out the best in every child under our guidance, providing a safe & secure haven for children where they can explore & direct their own learning.
Our Mission
To provide personalized learning with a safe & secure learning space. We believe that all children are born competent, capable and eager to learn. They should be able to experience the same both at school and at home. The program aims at both holistic & dynamic development of the children. We believe that no two children are the same.. Hence their learning journey and outcomes will also not be the same. We just want to celebrate their journey.
What We Offer?
Ikigai offer’s a complete package of the children’s learning needs. Be it at Home or physically at school, the curriculum provides activities which are Open - ended learning experiences, have Unstructured learning & repetition of the experiences. New parents have a lot of trouble sourcing the correct learning activities for their children at different stages.
Ikigai amis to provide a one -stop solution to the same.
The curriculum for Home includes year long age appropriate activities with the checklist in great detail. It is given in a monthly calendar form with daily schedules to make it easy for the parent to understand and implement. We also have a source store for materials to be bought.
How We Stand Out?
Ikigai Early Learning Centre provides a complete Learning set up for all domains like Social -Emotional, Language, Arts, Motor and Cognition ( STEAM). We use story-baskets and Discovery baskets rather than Worksheets & Crafts as we want children to foster authentic and meaningful learning experiences that promotes creativity, critical thinking and self -expression. We offer activities that encourage exploration and problem-solving, allowing children to actively construct their knowledge and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.
Ikigai Home Curriculum offers a 220 day lesson plans for one year. The parents can take age appropriate age plan. All the activities are Reggio Emilia inspired act with a mix of neurosciences.
